Olympic torch bearer
Hi all kilted community,
I have been chosen to bear the olympic torch in my hometown on dawn of dec. 8th, more exactly at 06:58 EST (11:58 GMT)
Of course I will not be kilted for that great moment but I will wear a special suit to run or walk my 300 meters (1000') strech of road.
I feel deeply proud doing it.
You will be able to watch me live on that link : http://www.rdsolympiques.ca/torch/fo...rch/index.html
I will publish pictures as soon they will be availiable.

Have a wonderful time. It is a great experience. I was a torch bearer in 1988 and I will never forget it. Holding the torch makes one feel as if they are floating and time disappears. Savour the moment. Good to see a Southshorer on xmarks. I grew up in St Bruno
Look forward to seeing your photos!

Congratulations on getting picked - that's quite an honour. We catch clips of the torch run on the evening news and it's wonderful to see people across our country bringing the common touch to the Olympic enterprise. Will definitely watch for you on the 8th.

Congratulations. I am looking forward to taking the kids to see the torch when it passes through Port Moody in the final days before the Olympics.
