My kids were watching Fairly Odd Parents today. The kid's parents went to a Scottish festival. Dad was mad at Mom for making him wear underwear with his kilt... I love things like this.

Yes it is funny and it never hurts to have a laugh at ourselves from time to time. But, oh my oh my, we in Scotland, have tried to live down the music hall stereotype Scotsman for over a century now and on the whole, I think we have succeeded, with one or two notable exceptions!I think that is why most Scots enjoy seeing the kilt and its accompanying attire worn properly and inwardly seethe when it is not.

How would you describe the music hall stereotype Scotsman?

Jock... I hope that you don't think a Startburst commercial has the ability to ruin a century's worth of work for Scot's and lifeguards alike... it's all in good fun.
