Drunk Monk Homebrew Contest - Kilted Tomorrow

I am judging at the Drunk Monk Challange in Chicago tomorrow. I will wear my kilt. :-) Doing Meads and ciders tonight. I considered wearing it there too ... don't want people to think it's the only piece of clothing I own!

    I envy you!
And what if the kilt WAS the only article of clothing you owned? Sounds good to me.int:int:int:

I would hope it was more than the same one day after day! ;) I do have my leather kilt, but it is not right for general wearing. Good for Motorcycle events and Saturday nights out on the town. Not so much for day use or beer events..

Got my first "piper" question there! I know many of you get that one, but I never have before. I just froze, didn't know what to say. I just gave her a dumb look and said I had no idea what she was talking about.

It was at the new Absinthe Bar in the Round House. I had 3 of the 7 they offered, and was trying to get the bartenders attention to try another 3. It got very busy, and she came in and sat 2 chairs over. I was on a mission to get the absinthe, and she caught me off guard with a question. I had forgotten I was even wearing a kilt, so at first, it was really a matter of I had no idea what she was asking. But even once it sunk in, I still drew a blank. Not normal for me!

Oh well, can't be too witty all the time.

All in all it was a good day to be kilted.
