Very nice... :-)
J'espére aussi, comme les autres, qu'un de ces jours j'aurais assez d'argent pour m'acheter un de ces magnifiques objets d'art que votre belle femme produise.

Dear Jim,
All you really need is 50 Euros a month (for 4 months) an some yardage of tartan ...

You are, of course, correct, mon cher Robert. Although in my case, not having the material, I would need a few more €€€ (so a few more months of saving up would be in order). Once my own good wife gets off the dole and becomes gainfully employed again, I hope to start saving (and buying) some of the cool stuff that's on my wish list.
That is an awesome tartan, though. Love it.

Beautiful tartan, Robert. I agree, the swing should be quite dramatic.

Fantastic!
How many yards of tartan are in that?

From the picture, it appears the first pleat is 1/2 the width of the box while the second is about 50% wider. Then they are laid out in a regular fashion with the same two pleats overlapped as they make their way around?
I hope there will be more pictures as Lady C. continues as I love watching the stages as it progresses!
