'Clan' Website Development Advice
Our local Scottish Society wants to put up a website. Knowing that many of you have had experience on this what sage advice to you have in starting a simple one?

Here is the site I designed for the Clan MacKinnon Society last year, I think having something not too busy and easy to navigate is important. One other thing off the top of my head consistency goes a long way in my opinion.

Websites are great for people to find you and learn a little bit. But we started a Facebook group page a year ago and it has exploded. We actually had people to join the society because of it. Its a great way for people to share pictures and have discussions that you wouldn't normally get with a website. And the best part is that it is free.
