It is telling me I cant watch it, because I am in America and that BBC programs are only for people from the UK

Well we pay a licence over here to enjoy Auntie Beeb...

I just watched the entire thing on BBC iPlayer and it was a really wonderful programme, complete with English subtitles for the Gallic bits.

Some wonderful pipe playing along with a view of the Western Isles that does not often get seen beyond BBC Alba.

    So....

All this flap back in the '70's begging us "Yanks" to "Holiday" in Auld Mother England (the tag line was: "All's Forgiven") was just a bowl of soured porridge???

To pull a Rabble-rousing slogan from the Rebellion and twist it to an appropriate commentary on this 21st century issue, perhaps the BBC is merely stating:

    "No "elation" without "renumeration"!!!"

Did all you folks across the pond know that BBC programs (and I'm thinking of, primarily, "BlackAdder") are broadcast over here in a shortened version. What delight there was in finding some of the stuff that we never saw here when I purchased a complete set of the un-cut originals!!!

The reasons the BBC gives can be seen at http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.u...mmes/outsideuk .

Apparently there is some kind of method for setting up a proxy ip address that will make the site think that one is in the UK that you can google and try but it looks too tech for me to explain.

I don't have any tattoos. Why would I want to see someone else's?
