    Novelty Sporrans

Has anyone ever come across sporrans which do that bit extra ? For instance, sporrans with a bottle or bladder to contain liquids, attached to a flexible tube you can pull out/unwind and drink through ? (similar to the baseball cap with attached beer cans and drinking tube).

Any more novelty sporran ideas ? The CD walkman sporran ? I-Pod sporran ? Even a crazy-voice sporran (as in "Help Help, I'm a prisoner in here - Let me out somebody !!!) ?

Jeeez, man. Living in that crazy sultanate must really be gettin' to ya. Sounds like you need a holiday long before you need any bizarre sporrans.

Come to think of it, I could use a holiday from this crazy country too.. You suppose we could swap jobs for a while?

But so as not to threadjack this completely.... No, I have not heard of such a product as you describe -- but surely nothing would prevent you from undertaking a DIY project to produce one... ith:

I dunno, man, something tells me that drinking from a tube that leads down to one's crotch area wouldn't go over very well...

I have seen several sporrans made from plush toys. One I saw was the Cookie Monster.
There was also a sporran here that was made by a rugby fan. If I remember correctly, he took an ordinary sporran and added the team logo on the flat and swapped the tassels and put little rugby ball keychains. It was well done. The more capable of this forum could get you that link.
I think there is also someone in the NorCal Rabble (or affliliated to) that has a crazy sporran.

Then there is the rubber chicken sporran........ but I wont go there.....

Not a sporran, but there's a rig that simulates a beer belly, that you can fill with "liquids" and wear under your shirt to venues where certain "liquids" are prohibited - then drink from a tube.

Course if one "needs" to do that then its time for a check up....

Even have them in bras for ladies.

Just recently, someone posted a picture of kilts for the photo contest, if I remember correctly, and one sporran was a stuffed sheep toy... I smiled and thought... If I can only find a stuffed goat toy, I could get my goat sporran...lol

I have seen formal pink sporrans (dyed rabbit fur I would guess). Also, camoflauge--but I think those are for so-called "modern" kilts and aren't supposed to be novelty.
