Wore a kilt to work today
I decided to wear a kilt today. Partly because I hadn't done so since Tartan Day and partly because some co-workers had asked when I might wear a kilt again.
Where I work business attire is the accepted norm, but we do have a casual Friday as long as were not meeting with senior government officials or military officers.
I typically get compliments from the women and jokes from the men, not unusual even when I wear a kilt outside of work, so we'll see how the day goes.
Decided I wanted to wear my modern Gunn by Burnett and Struth. Since I've lost so much weight it barely fits on the tightest notch in the straps (and I'm having much the same problem with my kilt belt and sporran strap).

Congrats, both on the kilt and the weight loss.
I'm kilted at work today, too -- MacFarlane Ancient.
Wonder how many others wear kilts on Fridays, with all the casual Fridays around? Probably not enough of us to get it changed officially to kilted Fridays. But we can call it that, can't we?

I'm usually kilted both Thurs. and Fri. at school. Yesterday was my Black Stewart and today is my solid green shadow kilt. Good to hear about the kilt at work and especially the weight loss.

Way to go on the weight loss, Bill! How pounds and % lost since beginning your diet program? Have a great kilt day. See you tomorrow at the Frederick Celtic Festival.

I haven't worn a kilt to class in a few weeks, and my anatomy class kids demanded that I wear one for their final exam on Monday, because they want to take me out for adult beverages afterwards. Wahoo!

Mael,
About 30 pounds or 15% of my starting weight. My focus however was on my waist measurement, not the pounds.
I can now wear all my kilts comfortably, including one I bought in 1983 and hadn't worn in years and was thinking of selling though I didn't want to.
I'll be at the Appin Stewart display in the living history section. Drop by!

Dreams that soon kilted men at work will be a yawner. Great that you'll be comfy today.
I'm kilted today for a vacation day - for comfort on the long drive down to Prescott for the games this weekend. Green leather RKilt.
