    The No Problem Kilt Graduation

Leaving shortly for my daughter's high school graduation and just thought that I'd mention that her classmate Mike is wearing his kilt to the ceremony with the full cooperation and ENCOURAGEMENT of the school's administration! Here's one that we didn't have to worry about and a big Xmarks hoo-rah for the Principal of Jones College Prep, Dr. Powers, who's totally okay with young Mike celebrating his graduation kilted.

Isn't it nice to hear that it's going our way for once?

    Best

Congrats. I recall doing the same at my high school graduation. Can't see why anyone would take issue with it.

My school's graduation is in almost 2 hours, and there are great big dark rain clouds overhead. We hope we don't have to move into the gym.

Cogratulations to the young man in the OP. I hope his future is wondefully bright.

You've missed the several accounts here of young men who have had to fight their school administrations over this issue.

That's really nice to hear, AA. My belief is that there are many more students wearing their kilts to graduation than there are who are not allowed. We usually only hear about the latter, so it's good to hear about, as muirkirkca says, a non-issue. Here's to Dr. Powers!
