I got street viewed!!
My neighbor came over this evening and told me that I was on Google Earth Street View.
I knew that they had done my city but did not know they got me in one of the pics.
Go to 48° 25' 54.09" N
123° 20' 39.52" W
Look for the street view labeled 1314 Pembroke St.
Look West.
And there I am on the sidewalk by the blue van walking to work one morning.
How cool is that?

Are you sure that isn't Elvis?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Kinda gives me the creeps. At least it's not live. Well, not yet anyway.
I just have to ask...how on earth did you find out about this?
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

As I said my neighbor came over this evening and told me about it.
See, the street view is just down the street from where I live. I was just walking to work one morning which is just around the corner.
I love Google Earth. I introduced my neighbor to it last year. And of course when you find out about Street View you want to look at your street and see your own house.
I have looked at my shop in street view and looked at my house. But had never bothered to walk all the way down the street around the corner to the shop. But my neighbor did, and that is when he noticed someone on the street and recognized the kilt.

I meant to ask how he found out...oops. That's what I get for multitasking.
They haven't gotten to most areas around here yet. Not much to see. Windmills, cattle, barns, horses, and a few dogs riding around on flatbeds. Yee-haw.
I guess I had best keep the yard maintained in case they drive by! You know, get the engine on the come-along down from the tree, put wheels on the El Camino, stop walking by the window in my underwear. Who wants to be "that guy?"
Pretty cool Steve.

If anyone is interested and would like to see my shop.....
48° 25' 48.28" N
123° 20' 42.40"W
Find the Street View camera for 1900 Fernwood Rd.
Look around for what looks like a White House on the East side of the street.
