New pirates movie

I spent the last 2 hours watching the filming of the new Pirates of the Caribbean 4. The Black Pearl is anchored about a mile from my house in Kaneohe Bay. Interesting but not too much action while I was there, my son is still over with his pals. Did not see anyone but extras tonight. This is good money for our town since the Lost tv show ended filming here.

Though the Black Pearl has now been transformed into the Queen Anne's Revenge this time around

I had a friend who was part of the crew that sailed the Lady Washington (aka HMS Interceptor) to the Caribbean for the first one.

Yep....so far the only original characters from the other 3 films confirmed are Jack Sparrow (Depp), Barbosa (Geoffrey Rush), Mr. Gibbs (Kevin R. McNally), & Jack (the monkey).

The "bad guy" this time around is Blackbeard (Ian McShane) & his daughter (Penelope Cruz).

It's called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

There's been a rumor that Keith Richards would reprise his role as Captain Teague, but I have not been able to confirm yet on any cast roles, or through any Disney contacts.

Here's a brief video from the set....the music is a little lame (you'd think they could've used the POTC theme? ).

Read in th newspapers that they are remaking the series Hawaii Five 0 and of course it will be shot in Hawaii.
Some day I will visit Hawaii, Do all the girls still wear the short hula skirts?
