Tartan Worn By Bill Millin

Piper Bill is pictured in his obit in the Telegraph kilted, could someone kindly identify the tartan for me? I could be wrong but I believe it is a Cameron I am just not sure which one.

Cameron of Erracht was the only Cameron tartan worn by Highland regiments

Looks like Fraser Hunting to me. Which would make sense, considering he was Lord Lovat's piper.

Having not looked at the pic I went with the only Cameron worn by Highland Regiments. I'm guessing that the OP was basing the question on this excerpt from the article....

"Millin began his apparently suicidal serenade immediately upon jumping from the ramp of the landing craft into the icy water. As the Cameron tartan of his kilt floated to the surface he struck up with Hieland Laddie. He continued even as the man behind him was hit, dropped into the sea and sank. "

Having not seen the Fraser Hunting I could not comment to that effect, only agree with those more knowledgeable.
