One of us dancing on YouTube

I know this must have been posted before, I just haven't found the correct tag to find it again. It is Ancienne Alliance dancing and displaying various Lady Chrystel's box pleat kilts. How can you not envy a family with such love, happiness, joy, and style?

While I covet the kilts, the construction worker in me really loved the house.

I hadn't seen this one before!

Beautiful action in the way the pleats swing during the dance.

Another kind of kilt to add to the wishlist...

Also, I couldn't help but appreciate what a beautiful home Robert and Lady Chrystel live in - they are stylish folks in more than just dress!

You saw that and you missed THIS?

I am a great admirer of Robert and Lady Chrystel, but surely you will enjoy this piece of cinema verite extraordinaire. It was on the margins of the originally linked clip. Note, please, the ruche ties. Need I say more?

    Excellent little video.
Brings back happy memories of my visit to Robert and Lady Chrystel.

Great little video. And yes, for those who have not had the experience, the double box pleat does have a unique movement to it.
Can't wait to take my new kilt dancing!
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

    Cool

    Ho Ho !
This is an old film ! I've lost 23 pounds since !

I'll have to make another one...

    The pleats still do swing in a wonderful way though;

    Thank you Lady Chrystel

...and thank you for rediscovering this film again.

    Best,

    Robert

Darn, now I'm wishing again that I had a Lady Chrystel double box pleat. It's always nice to see photos and videos of you and your lovely family Robert.
