Jim, Jack and John were sitting in a pub having a few rounds after a long days work. As they chatted and relaxed, they watched the people entering and leaving the brothel across the street. This had become a custom of theirs over the months, and until this particular day they were never surprised by the patrons.
Jim quietly asked his comrades "Isn't that Reverend Jones of the First Baptist?!" They all agreed it was and admitted "what a darn shame that a man of the cloth would enter a house of such ill repute".
As the evening wore on, Jack whispered "And I'll be... that's Reverend Jefferson from the Methodist congregation down the road?!" Jim and John concurred with the assessment and they all stated again "what a darn shame that a man of the cloth would enter a house of ill repute".
As they were leaving for the evening John said "Oh! Look! It's Father O'Connor of our very own parish!" They all grinned and agreed amongst themselves that...
"... It's so good of him to go into such a seedy area and pray over our lost sisters"!
