Northern VA Kilt Night

Hello all was wondering who would be up for a Kilt Night someplace in the Northern VA area for say Friday October 15 or Saturday October 16 - Time and place to be determined by the group attending. This would be my 1st and I am also aware that Meadow Games are the following weekend which I will certainly be attending and assisiting Sir William with the Clan Elliot Tent. Well heres hoping to get a good response

Thanks Mal - We met @ VA Games this year I was helping Bill with the Elliot Tent whilst also being one of the photographers for the games. I would assume we will ahve a few more posts this evening once everyone is home from the office/work. so the more the Merrier(sp) and once we have a few we can then decide on time and place

Thanks Mac - OK I say we give a few more days and then whom ever has responded with affirmation then we decide on a place and I will then post that, from there we will have day, time & place and whomever shall come will be welcome.ith:

I'm game as well. I have to go to Charlottesville on Sunday, Oct 17th, but should be free the other two evenings.

We could "return" to Pat Troy's in Alexandria (last time was at least 2 years ago), or try somewhere new, like the Union Street Pub or Murphy's, also in Alexandria, Four Provinces in Falls Church, one of the several Ned Devines, or even venture up to the Royal Mile in Wheaton and invite our Maryland cousins.

I am game for anywher - However The Royal Mile & the Inclusion of MD I think would be a great Idea - Should I add a post in MD or do you (Bill) have a contact that you can forward the information too - Then we would just need to figure if Friday or Saturday would be the better choiceith:

Um...Sorry guys, but my girlfriend booked us a hotel room for the PA Ren Faire that weekend, so I am going to have to rescind my invite.

ithK so far we have 3 - I was wondering if we could do this on Saturday October 16th as I myself have just been hired to photograph an event on Friday - Hoping this isnt a problem since the original post stated either Fri or sat and we had not picked one as yet. Additionally I am awaiting word regarding the MD Cousins from Sir William

So if there arent any objections to the date I say Saturday October 16, 2010 @ 1930 Hrs (7:30pm)
