Is this an official tartan?

Hi I stumbled across 3 yds of this in 100% wool (light weight) at the fabric store for $2.95 a yd. I wasn't sure if it's a registered tartan but for that price I couldn't pass it up. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

Nope. A US fancy I'd guess.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh I didn't think so. At $14 a yard originally marked down to $2.95 I kinda figured it was just another purdy plaid Thanks for your help. Now I won't feel bad if I butcher this poor plaid w/my beginner sewing skills! Cheers

Ok the haversack is done & on it's way to it's new owner. This may not be a registered tartan but it made a nice sack for some havers
