    Lochcarron Kilt Hose

My Girlfriend just bought me a pair from Lochcarron's Highlander Collection. They are size 12 and fit fine EXCEPT for the leading edge of cuff. It feels like there is a very thin cord there, this is so tight I am only able to get them on with help and even then, I can't get more than a half inch cuff. My question is can the cord be cut removed and replaced with a longer one?

There shouldn't be any cord in the edge. Can you take a picture of it and show us so we can figure out what's going on?

I believe I know know what you're talking about. On my Locharrons, it looks like they make the leg and the cuff sepparately, and then sew them together. It may actually be the seam that you're feeling as a chord.
