OK, Since I am not on Facebook, I will cast a vote here. I go for the 22nd. The 29th will conflict with another great kilted event, unless we all want to show up there too. That date is the Interceltic Fest Noz, celebrating the five Celtic nations. It is put on by a group from Brittany, and I tell you it is a great party. I will be posting details in a separate thread. I was there last year as were a few others of the rabble, although I didn't know any of you yet.
Of course I say do both, but again I think the rabble should meet on the 22nd.

The 22nd won't work for me because we'll be doing a Scottish dance performance at Mohonk Mountain House for Scottish Weekend.
The 29th would be great if we could meet before the Interceltic Noz. I definitely want to go there. It was fantastic last year and I'm sure everyone would love it.

I can see doing both in one night, it would also mean only having to take one vacation day as opposed to two. That would however make for a long night. I am game if the rest of the rabble is game.
Another factor is that St, Andrew's has food, and as I remember last year the Fest Noz did not. It was at Connolly's and one could go downstairs to eat, but I have no idea what the food situation will be like in this new place. So the Kilt Night being before hand might work out to our benefit.
