P.S.
Apologies for the small number of photos. The other pics from Fionn MacCool's have a privacy-shy friend in them and the others from McLaughlin turned out blurry

Sorry we missed you at McCools, we had a nice time, they had some lovely haggis springrolls earlier as well. Met a couple new folks and some old friends, unfortunately we didn't get any pictures.
Cheers

You both look a smashing couple in the first picture though you are very dapper at both gigs. I like the maple leaf Kilt pin. Any chance of a close up sometime?

No problem, here's your closeup. I got this on eBay and it arrived just in time for Burns Night. Vintage and silver plated means it is a little worn but I think that adds character. Also, I quite like how the pin is very 3 dimensional instead of just flat.

Yes, it's a pity things didn't work out for some of us at Fionn MacCool's
McMurdo, I'm glad you're alive and didn't risk the white-out, despite not making it down to the pub.
Hendry, I guess the early bird gets the worm, and that wasn't me!

I know what you mean about eBay, eh? It's hard to turn down really good deals... but now I've got a pin for each of my kilts. So then, I bought one for my lass' kilt-skirt (Chinese tartan) while I was at it.
