paying respects to Ann
In another thread cessna152towser (Alex) mentioned that Ann's memorial service will be Monday 14 February at 9:30 am. I'm proposing here that on that day we all do something to honor her memory and his devotion to her. Whether it be raising a glass to her memory, having a moment of silence, making a contribution to a charity, or striking in the 'pipes for a few tunes, each of us can do something to let Alex know that we're all thinking of him and wishing we were nearby to help out.
I don't think anyone would think we were bragging if we posted here what we do to honor Ann's memory. I plan to play a few tunes Monday evening (as I imagine some of the rest of you will), and I hope Alex can take some comfort from knowing that he has the support of hundreds of friends around the world.

EXCELLENT idea.
I will be working on a kilt at that time and although I only knew Ann from cessna152towsner posts, iI will be thinking of her and he while I am sewing in the states. Good thoughts and the GREAT SPIRIT working on your Mojo. How can you go wrong?

Both Sydnie7 and I enjoyed meeting Alex while at the Ventura Games a couple of years ago and we both will take a moment of silence in memory of Ann and of Alex who cared for her so very well.
Fair winds and following seas to you Alex.

I shall remember Ann and our friend, Alex, on Monday as I raise a glass in their honor.
May God bless Alex as we express our sorrow for his loss even as he blesses the soul of Ann who rests in the everlasting arms.

I will certainly raise a glass and say a prayer for both Alex and Ann.
