And so it came to pass...

... that with much help and coaching from the Wizard and his apprentice I have produced my very own kilt and hopefully first of many to come.

I felt making it from CADPAT material was a nice reminder to my former military career. Having worn the uniform prior to, and through it's introduction having a CADPAT kilt just feels somehow right.

Looking at the rear. . .

Is it pleated to the sett, or to the stripe?

Seriously, though -- nice work indeed!!

I gave Jackson a daunting task with this fabric. To pleat it "To the leaf".

Dang! That came out pretty darn good. I like CADPAT. When I have time I plan on another MARPAT, but this time in RevK instead of box-pleat X-Kilt.

Are you sure that's your first one? Looks as good as most pro jobs! Well done Sir!

First camo kilt I've seen that I like the look of, perhaps because the pleating etc appears fairly traditional. Well done!

I pleated it to the alternate blotch.
