"Jones-ing" for material
Until I visited XMarks I had never even heard the term "jones-ing" and now I'm doing it
Found an ad for some MacDougall family tartan on Kijiji - a Canadian equivalent of Craigslist. Contacted the seller by email (she lives 500 km away from where I do), we eventually connected by phone and after a short conversation she agreed to ship it to me without even waiting for me to send her a cheque. How trusting! I have returned that trust by sending off a cheque in advance of actually receiving the parcel.
So now, if I understand the term correctly, I am "jones-ing" . Not even sure how much material I am getting so goodness knows whether it'll be turned into an expensive tie, several vests (gifts for my brothers and my son) or, if I'm lucky, a much hoped for proper kilt for me.
