Pre-parade brunch for 2011 NYC Tartan Week parade

Hey, folks, I've been away from the site for a very long time, due to the circumstances in my life.

But Tartan Week is a coming!

Is there any interest in meeting for lunch/brunch prior to the Tartan Week parade? If so, step up and make your voice heard.

Good to see you back aboard! We won't be in the neighborhood for your NYC bash

but may wander down to Balboa Park for the San Diego festivities.

The Tartan Day Parade is on Saturday, April 9th, 2011

The place where we have met the last few years is:

The Playwright Tavern
202 West 49th Street
(between 7th Avenue and Broadway)

It is just a block from the parade route and they have always been cooperative. Plus the food is good and reasonably priced.

The parade starts at 2:00, so I suggest meeting about 11:30.

@ MacBean, I believe a brunch is served at the Kirking, but you are welcome to join us for watching the parade.

I think I'll pass on the kirkin and sign up for brunch. I will have my wife and son in tow, and possibly a daughter, so sign me up for 3 seats at your brunch please.

Can't join you for watching the parade, wish I could, but we're signed up already for marching (under MacBean).
