Maple Leaf in action

In order to celebrate the Maple Leaf being made the official Canadian tartan I strapped it on and headed out to snowshoe up Cypress mountain. Sixteen feet of snow on the ground made for a perfect day.

Hope to see other maple leaf kilts in action.

How can you think about your hands when your nuggets are slowly crystalizing. Looking good brother!!! I really like that tartan.

A wonderful way to celebrate your national tartan.
Now if my design for a South African national tartan was accepted, I think I would also celebrate by going up a mountain – but not on a snow day!
