Got my SWK Standard Royal Stewart in.

I gotta say, for the money, I am loving this thing so far. It is comfortable, feels heavy, but not over-whelming, and Jerry's service was impeccable. Completely lived up to what I have read on these forums. And with my custom gaiters, I really love the way it looks. Maybe have to wear this to the Texas Scottish Festival.

Nice! SWK is a great source for inexpensive kilts. Now you need to try a woolie! They're even more comfortable. Oh, and I love the sporran!

Those are the custom gaiters he was mentioning.

    Thanks guys.

I actually have had a few woolies in my day, most were hand made by my grandma before the arthritis got too bad. But alas, Grew up and got pretty financially low for a good while there, so I had to get rid of them. I am planning on buying a new tank soon from USAK in an Edzell tartan. and eventually another Royal or Black Stewart.

And yes, the Gaiters are huge... I also have 21" Calves. I was a goaltender and Power lifter for over 10 years. I tend to despise Kilt Hose, but really dont like the way Kilts look without some kind of knee-high foot wear (on me anyways), so its tall boots, or gaiters.

And the Sporran was made by my other half. she knocked it out last night with some spare leather we had laying around.

It's great that there are affordable options like SWK out there. Looking good!
