A while back folks were discussing tattersall shirts and "popcorn" hose - I was turning out the pockets in a jacket and found a good source for both I'd forgotten about. A store in Bobcaygeon Ontario called London Trading Post mostly caters to the horsey set, but has a terrific selection of tattersall shirts that are the real deal: heavyweight, and in many patterns and colours. Their hose is intended to go into wellies but would make super kilt hose too, as I recall. They had a large booth at a horse show in Toronto last fall and though I didn't buy anything, their prices and quality were great. Bobcaygeon is in what we call cottage country, and off the beaten track. Check them out at www.londontradingpost.ca Tel 705 738 1956
An excellent selection of shirts (and hose) to wear with the kilt. Thanks for posting!
Just checked them out. Looks good. The hose even come with a sewn-in garter if you like! http://londontradingpost.ca/popup_image.php?pID=268
