Cthulhu tartan: what kilt type will you make?
Being optimistic that the R'lyeh Sett (my favorite name for the Cthulhu tartan) will "soon" be a reality... how do all of you buying it plan to have it made into a kilt?
Being intentionally different seems like the thing to do - reverse Kingussie? Double box pleat? X-Kilt? Great kilt?
I'm trying to decide what I would like, so I'm fishing for your ideas here.

I'm getting mine over to Lady Chrystal for a 9 yarder for me and a box pleat for Amy.

I'm seriously thinking kingusse pleats, as I like how the pleats on my utilikilts don't catch anything when I walk. (I sometimes bump into things)

1 8-yard regular knife-pleated kilt, and 1 feileadh mor.

One 4yrd box pleat, with enough left over for another one for a friend.

I'm getting Barb Tewksbury to make me up a boxpleat. I expect to have enough left for a plaid, which I'll make myself.

I'm back and forth. I think I'll probably end up going for a box pleat, with luck Matt will be the one making it for me. I'll have enough left over for a bias cut waistcoat using THESE sweet buttons Stilleto_Rebel found

I was thinking the EXACT same thing, with enough left over for a skirt for my wife. Catholic schoolgirl style, not a full girls kilt. If I did my math right it is 4 yards for the box pleat kilt, 2 for the vest, and 2 for the skirt.
