Angry Kilt Article Found On The Web

Yes this is an opinionated piece but as I was happily enjoying my Google experience I stumble upon this article. I thought at first the man was joking, but then I found out he was serious. Anyone else find this article as barbaric as I think it is?

All I know is that if kilts are "sinful" then I don't want to be right. After all sin is what separates us from God right? I don't know just my opinion, but I would love to hear what everyone else has to say.

    Regards,
    Jake

Cower is correct. This was discussed fairly recently here on Xmarks. Thing is, that's not the only incidence either. This particular article comes up periodically -- it's been around for a good while, and some members have even tried to make contact with the article's owner without success.

It's the ramblings of a silly man with a religious axe to grind, nothing more... He represents no agenda other than his own.

If we keep talking about people like this and the stuff he says, it only gives him more power. It is obvious that man is mentally unstable and by talking about his ramblings, we just give him more fuel for his fire.

Seen it before. It's not even theologically correct, even if I wasn't an atheist anyway, LOL! Plenty of people have poked holes in his arguments before, and probably including some in the thread that was linked to above.

Well, lads, if it's a sin you've all confessed already, so here's my "blanket" absolution.

Those are the advantages of having an "in-house" priest...

Thank you, Father! ...does this extend to those of us in the pagan community, as well, or am I still hell bound?

So on topic... I tried contacting the guy who wrote the blog, but he never responded. He has zero interest in an exchange of ideas; only to force his own views on the rest of the world. He's what those of us in the pagan community call a hypochristian- instead conforming his views to fit the Word of God, he conforms the Word to justify his views. Pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain...

I'm still screwed... most of my shirts are linen... And I wear them with wool!

Resident protestant pastor here, checking in to concur with Father Bill (and Mr. Newsome). I've tried to find this er, um, gentleman's credentials before, but never had any luck. I especially enjoyed his explaination that the garments worn by the men in the bible were designed for men, and were therefore, manly. Everything designed since (other than pants of course), whether designed for men or not, constitutes cross-dressing, and therefore is a sin. He also has a lengthy article on the same site explaining how women that wear pants are all going straight to hell. I tried clicking on some of the other links on the site, but the filter here in our church building blocked them as "racism or hate"

    Have Fun,
