I can't get too excited about the Beeb and Dr Who, sorry. But I was very interested to learn about Mr Haggas (Harris, Haggis, Haggas?) and his market cornering ways. His little clip could easily have been tweaked to resemble a John Cleese sketch even more closely. One does see a distinct resemblance...Or is that just me.

I just picked up a 1970s suit in HT for a lot less than these jackets, but of course, it has already been worn.

I buy my tweed de Harris directly from the weaver. There's no big mark-up, no middleman, and the weaver I deal with is a super-friendly dude.

    Hooray for Harris tweed!

What is interesting about this is that I recall seeing on the Facebook page of Andrew Elliot's in Selkirk that they wove the tweed worn by the current Doctor. Again, they are in Selkirk, not China nor Canada.

Could it possibly be that the good doctor has more than one jacket stowed away in his TARDIS?
