Gordon Dress four foot box pleat.
Here's kilt number three - a four foot box pleat in Gordon Dress.
The "Sporran" is a Summit Gear brand belt bag.

I think the tartan goes well with my pup - I'll be making him a collar out of it soon enough.

I was moving a bit here, hoping to show a bit more of the reveal - the bright white vertical stripes. Really strengthens the "swish"

Mandatory open pleat shot.
The light weight fabric and the fact it's only a 4 yard box pleat have proven to be very nice for the heat we've been facing here the last few days.
I was planning on taking pictures as I went, but the machine adaptation of Matt and Barb's guide was very experimental, so I figured I'd wait and make sure it worked out... Sure feels like it did.

Really nice! Great looking kilt. Looks like some really good work, again. You really inspire me to jump in and give it a shot.

BTW, is the dude in the pics a white shepard? I only ask cuz my wife's mother used to breed very high ranking white shepards. Beautiful dogs and yours looks like a real bro

Not me!! I hate sewing machines... and I have no patience for hand sewing things like that! It is beautiful, though. I love box pleated kilts. I love that tartan, and I love my pet! Which happens to be a pretty little calico cat...

Very nice indeed man, I'll have to have you make my Murphy a matching tartan collar for one of my kilts. Thanks again for popping out my kilt in such a short time. Cheers!

Thanks! And yes, he's a White German Shepherd. Adopted him three months ago at the tender age of ten months.

Didn't Volvo run an add campaign once? "Volvo - they're boxy but they're good."
So if an 8 yard knife pleat is a "Tank"... ... Shouldn't a 4 yard box pleat be a "Volvo"?
Sorry... I'll get my coat.
