kilted cake topper?
So me and my fiance are looking for cake toppers for our up coming wedding and we are trying to find a kilted cake topper, since i will be kilted and all it would seem silly to have a groom in a tux on the cake and a groom in a kilt on the alter. we have seen a few on different websites but many of them only come in a red or green kilt, and I was wondering if any one knows of one (thats reasonably priced) that you could changed the color/tartan of the kilt. i will be wearing a MacPherson Dress kilt so i would like to get the figures with a white kilt. Heres a few that i have found...

The bride doesnt seem to like this one for some reason but rather enjoy it!
but again only red or green kilts

You could get one of the toppers in the first picture and paint it to match your kilt, or get someone else top do it as a wedding gift to you.

When given a choice, most people will choose.

I vote for the bride with the shotgun... I can see the humour in that...

Kilted cake topper
From someone just married two weeks ------
Early in my search, I found a humorous cake topper of a red-headed bride (fancy that!) dragging a groom by the collar. The groom was wearing a green tartan kilt. I can't find it again anywhere, so I'm sorry I didn't order it when I found it.
It seems to me that I found it on a UK website, searching using Google images for "redhead" "bride" "groom" "kilt" "cake".
Good luck.

Not quite the same, but i'm sure they probably have something similar to what you wanted

Why not buy one you like and paint it to mirror your kilt? It's a small kilt. A little model paint and a small brush and you can have it done in a half hour.

My vote is for the second one. Model paint can be bought almost anywhere.

I had the same problem with my wedding last October. All the cake toppers looked cheap, kitchy, or both. Solution: Go custom. It wasnt absolutely perfect, nor was it cheap, but it was a lot of fun and it's actually nice to keep around. Remember, statistics show that the cake topper is the second most photographed thing at a wedding next to the bride.
