No turning back now
Wore a kilt for the first time at the local games a couple of weeks ago - with photo evidence. I was a little self-consious at first but that didn't last long. Now I'm threatening to kilt-up for my son's high school graduation next May.
Thanks to everyone here for all the advise that helped me pull it off without any major faux pas.
BTW - the handsome boyo on the right is me.

Welcome from the mountains of New Mexico! That's a bright, colorful tartan, and it makes a handsome kilt.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

It all looks good.
What tartan is that, by the way?

Welcome to XMTS. My wife is a Carroll, and her grandparents were Mahers. That's a very smart Clan Cian kilt.

Why it's the Clan Cian tartan, of course !
And I failed to point out in my origianl post that the OTHER boyo in the photo is the Chief of the Clan, Fredrick O'Carroll. It's not what you know, but who you know.
