Unfriending Kilties on Facebook
Don't know if folks get a notice when I unfriend someone - but my friends list has become huge and my news page busy with stuff about folks I don't even know. So I'm unfriending a lot of folks and most of the X Marks friends since we already connect here on this board.
Nothing personal - just self-defense with the insane new changes.

How many people do you think would have noticed with the new FB updates...

If I understand the new setup you can create a list, lets say for this group, move friends into that list, then set the options to not display anything from them.

I totally understand. I've been taking a break and when I return I'll be cutting my friend list as well.

Since I'm not on FaceSpace or MyBook or whatever it is, I won't be upset with you, Ron, if you don't want to be my friend any more. You just can't hang out with me at recess, that's all.

People don't get notified when you de-friend them... BUT there IS a widget that you can run that will show all the people who have de-friended you.

Can you elaborate on this widget thing?

I was going to look it up for you -- it was a simple desktop application from my recollection... But then I saw this headline today. It kinda makes the app obsolete.

For those of us who aren't actively social, it's nice and quiet on Google+...

I'll second that, I have google+ and I prefer it to Facebook especially after the latest bunch of updates.
