mens legs: Ladies only respond, please. ( I asked nicely)

So, it has come up in another forum, that at least one of the X Marks women feel that mens legs are not as nice to look at as womens legs. They're hairy and stuff. Women shave and put on lotion and so on...guys mostly do not. Icck. Therefore, this person asks the men to cover up with hose, and so on.

That's fine - no problem, the lady is entitled to her views! I certainly am not upset in the slightest. However, I am curious...

How many women here on X Marks find mens legs to be unattractive? Do you find them to be attractive? Does it depend on the man in question? How would attractiveness be improved? Etc.

Here's an example, potential response: Mens legs are fine, they attached to the man, and there are plenty of attractive men so it's all part of the same package. However, if more men used a depilatory and scented soap, I personally would find more mens legs to be attractive, than I now do.

    or

Look, guys are fine. They're necessary. But I don't want to look at more of you than I have to, and nothing you can do is going to improve what you look like. So wear socks or something. Even a bag over your head would be an improvement

...or whatever seems appropriate to write at the time. I much look forward to seeing your responses.

    WOMEN ONLY.

However, I would NOT like it if more men used a depilatory and scented soap. The being hairy part is part of the package and makes them different from women's legs. PLEASE do NOT shave them on my account!

OK, here goes-remember, just my personal opinion. I LOVE mens legs. There is nothing more attractive, imho, than a nicely kilted gentleman showing off those knees. I do not find hairiness unattractive, and if the guys were to shave their legs it just wouldn't work for me. The hairiness is indeed part of the whole package-vive la difference!

I think it depends on the guy. For the most part men have great legs.

Mens legs are supposed to be hairy (they are men after all).

Men that remove the hair on their legs and use lotion, get mani/pedi etc are too much into pampering themselves Not for me!!

Men with hairy legs in a Kilt (whew)!! Need I say more?!?!

Ah yes - knees - they can belong to cyclists, runners, walkers, rugby players - even a chubby couch potato, they are endlessly fascinating.

However - they should be natural - artificially naked legs - I don't even have those.

Of course some are super fluffy, others only moderately hairy, some dark, some fair - some ginger.

I don't think I'd mind lotions and potions being rubbed in to benefit the skin, protect against sunburn and the like, but I don't really equate shaven legs and extra attractiveness.

Though some men do have feet which are all knobbles and strings. I don't like those much.

I don't know that I recall my cronies ever discussing men's legs. If they're in proportion to the man (size, length, skintone, hair, etc) than good.
That being said, I may have looked longer than normal to the gentleman on the left up there on the XMTS banner. That's one nice man thigh.
    And who could forget Fletch.

Manscaped legs are fine for competitive swimmers and cyclists, but on everyday men... not so much. If his legs are smoother than mine, I'm devoloping a complex.

Lotions for skin care, yes. Hair, he11 yes! Pedicures are fine to keep the calluses under control. Much beyond that and, like other females here, I get a little "say what? you're spending more time/money on appearance than I am!" which really isn't hard to do LOL

No need to cover them up. A nice pair of kilt hose and garters/flashes is like many other items of clothing. . . drawing attention to the bits that are exposed, in a very positive way.

    So flaunt 'em, fellas!

I think my comment may have ben mis-read or mis-interpreted. I was speaking about the balance between wearing NO socks or hose and kilts. I do not believe that is an attractive look, when the eye is focused on the ankle and not the calf, knee or thigh.

I LOVE men's legs, and hair is part of the package! That's what separates the boys from the girls and makes the world go 'round! My male sailing friends look wonderful in the right pair of shorts or trousers and a pair of deck shoes! It's a wonderful look, and I do admit that I enjoy the view!

Yes, I admit it! I am a leg woman!

So please, please, Gentlemen of XMarks, show those legs! Women around the world, and especially I, will thank you for it!

    Cheers, Jocelyn

I know the title says "women only..." But I have to chime in here and thank the women on this board for fueling my ego. Which admittedly didn't need any more fuel...
