Architectural Digest, February 2012
My monthly house porn arrived in the mail yesterday.
Regards,

Is the article what you expected, Rex?
It's good to see you back.

As a long-time reader of AD, yes. And the house itself was lovely, but really not my taste.
As for kilt-relevance beyond the cover, there was only one other photo of the Duke of Rothesay, smaller in size from the cover and in similar pose, but there was a lovely Arthur Elgort photo of a high-kicking Linda Evangelista and a piper in full regalia on page 51, advertising a subscription to the Vogue Archive, which dates back to 1892. More of Elgort's photos and Ms. Evangelista's 1991, tartan-suffused spread in Vogue can be found in this BLOGINVOGA blog post, which probably belongs in the lasses'-wear thread, if it is still running.
Regards,
Rex.

Hi Rex, hope you're doing well.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Nice to see that you are still about Rex. That is a smart outfit the Prince is wearing and I was debating about that shade of velvet with a greenish kilt. The question is conclusively answered! YES!

My first thought was NICE HOSE!
My second thought was NICE DOUBLET!
My third thought was that my house is not near nice enough to wear that outfit in! lol....
As always, HRH is dressed impeccably.

Now that's an outfit to aspire towards.
