    Credit where credit is due

For Christmas my lovely wife gave me my forth USA Kilt (my third semi-traditional model)

I kept it under wraps since it was to have its official debut at the Nor Cal Rabble Burns Night Supper, so this is a belated thanks.

In honor of our friends Gene and Ruth McCraken and this big lug known on XMTS as Alan H, all proud members of Clan MacNaughton and friends, Kent (walkerk) and I got USA semi tradional kilts in the lovely MacNaughton tartan while the Amazing Madalyn got a matching sash.

    [/QUOTE]

For a red based tartan, the USA Kilts PV version of the MacNaughton is a lovely and fairly subtle red. It dressed down nicely the next day on the NCR trip to Wilder Ranch

Like all my previous USA Kilt experiences this was one was easy and pleasant. I am happy at the consistent quality and value of Rocky's products and this is why I remain a loyal customer and will continue to recommend USA Kilts to others

What I am wearing today for my daughter's first elementary school band concert

Thanks for the great work Rocky!

    Cheers

Thanks Glen, the " 'Stash of Epicness" gives the bearer +3 to hit and +3 damage (doubled against trolls).

Lovely kilt and outfits worn with it. *** on the beard develpment. We have Knights in our not distant background, reportedly derivatives of MacKnight/MacNaughton, so that tartan is one that has been in my consideration list for some time now. Truly a nice colorful and well balanced tartan. It will definitely stay on the list.

Looking good. My wife (and thereby my son as well) is a Naughton. I have considered a semi-trad too. Great looking kilt. Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking kilt, Jamie. I like the black walking stick you have in the photo from today. Where did you find it?

Star picked it out for me from the "Irish Castle" booth at the Pleasanton Games last year. They have a store in San Francisco and it is my very favorite walking stick. A lot of blackthorn sticks available are really thin but not this one! (Star made her choice by testing all the sticks against our children's backsides. They liked this one least so naturally it was the winner )

    Cheers

Hmm, I'll have to swing by there. I have a heavy and still-new-looking handknit Arran sweater in black sheep yarn I bought at that store in San Francisco. The proprietress told me at the time, "It'll still be keepin' ye warm when ye go down to the grave!".

    That was in 1982.

I'd love to find a really good stout blackthorn.

Congrats on your new kilt Jamie. I think the colors in that tartan is very nice. As a member of The Flatcap Confederation I must say your headgear looks smashing.
