Just took the plunge
Placed my order with Scotweb this morning. A fairly hefty order, to be sure. (I've paid less for vehicles! LOL)
Now to begin anxiously counting down the days until I receive. The salesman was extremely helpful and "supremely confident" that I should receive everything in time for the Celtic Woman concert in 7 weeks.

LOL, I came in expecting a plunge, as in a polar bear plunge, which I did last weekend in the Chesapeake Bay. Sorry, I misunderstood. Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy the show!

LOL!
Well, I had a heart attack last September, so I don't think jumping into the Great Lakes would be a keen idea at the moment. ;)
However, between Lisa and myself, our wish-list ran to just under $4000, so I'm taking a nitro pill either way.

Cool! What all did you order?

When given a choice, most people will choose.

The shorter response would probably list what we DIDN'T order.
We went all out. For myself, I started with their "Classic Prince Charlie w/ Luxury Clan Accessories" package (though I did down-grade the fly plaid to the non-braided version), to which I added a clan crest stick pin to complete the formal side. The clan crests throughout, were Buchanan.
To build a day wear package, I ordered the Jacobite shirt, a belt, clan crest buckle, and a day wear sporan. For hats, I ordered a tam, a glengarry, and a clan crest hat badge. Everything built around the Buchanan Modern tartan, from Lochcarron, in 16 and 10-oz weights, as appropriate.
For Lisa, I ordered the hostess skirt, sash, sash brooch, long straight skirt, jabot blouse, stole, their neat looking "sporan" handbag, and the nice clutch handbag, all done in 10-oz Gordon Modern tartan, also from Lochcarron.
For each of us, we also ordered an extra 3 meters of our corresponding tartan fabrics, should we wish to attempt to make any additional accessories, make any repairs, supplemental pieces, or whatever.

That sounds like quite an order, best of luck with it. I look forward to the photos when it all arrives.

I have placed two orders with them and used the free (it's in the DNA) shipping each time. One came in a week, the other took about 3 weeks. Everything arrived in good shape.

If I were ordering far less (for example, less than $100 U.S.), I'd consider the free shipping. However, given the size and monetary value of this order, I would not feel comfortable without the tracking number of the expedited shipping.
