Kilt adjustments and cleaning

I have had a day kilt for many years and find that I need to adjust the waist measure. I live in North Carolina now and visit Scotland sporadically. Is there anywhere near here where I can get this job done reliably. It needs to be cleaned also. I hope somebody can give me some good advice since I am new to the area (Charlotte).
