My kilt is coming with me on my next cruise, I have been on 5 royal caribbean cruises and always the kilt gets forgotten at home.
Think they will let me on the flow rider in a kilt and sporran???

Nick: You, and your lovely lady, both "pulled it off nicely". Congratulations.
Is the tartan the Green Mackay? If you ever get a Scottish jacket like an Argyll or a Prince Charlie, it will display even more of your tartan and sporran. Bon voyage!

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I'll be kilted in my own Ancient MacKay on a Alaska cruise in June.

Elegance and refinement.
It is the only way to cruise, isn't it.

Ive been in 3 cruises wearing kilts. All mine are the Utlility type with the pockets and such, so i wore them every day of the cruise including going into the ports and to and from the pools, etc. I only took 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of long pants, but never wore them. Ive been on a total of 18 cruises but the last 3 I wore kilts.

On this point, if budget is an issue VMac on this forum does a fantastic job of altering jackets. I have 2 that Victoria has done for me and they are fantastic. I am so pleased with the quality and they fit within my budget.

Budget is an issue in a way. I can't justify paying the price of a Kilt Jacket with how Little i would actually wear it. Most of my kilt wearing is casual around town or hiking. I might pull it out once or twice a year and just can't see paying hundreds of dollars for that.
