Not the best portrayal of kilted men but somebody somewhere might find it funny...

After seeing that, I fully expect the men in my house to show up to the theatre to see this movie in kilts.

I wonder why Disney did not use Ferguson Tartan - The King in the movie is King Fergus and he would have worn a Fergusson tartan , Just wondering - would have been cool , I would have match when I go see it tomorrow. lol

Because they can't control the marketing of products in an existing tartan.

From what I hear they specifically steered away from existing clan tartans because they did not want it to look like they were attempting to identify with any actual clan or family.

Plus, as the movie is ostensibly set in the 11th century, there would be no clan tartans anyway. Or no kilts for that matter, but then again this is not the first time Hollywood has gotten historic Scottish clothing wrong. :-)

Have to agree Chas. It's actually worse in cloth - look here

Gosh - the green just disappears!

Not a good design, I think.

I agree that the green is basically unseen to the eye. But I like it.
