So, what should I wear to Pixar.....
I've been asked to get a couple of braw lads, gather up some weights, stones, hammers and a caber and show up to the "In-House" .. ->Pixar Staff Only<-, inaugural showing of BRAVE, to be held at some secret but disgracefully Posh location near Calistoga, CA. This is in about 4 weeks, a week before the public opening.
And no, I'm not kidding. Honest. Cross my garters.
So.
Great kilt and woad? Perfectly tailored Capercaillie, modern, navy blue Braemar and Waistcoat, with hand-knitted hose and gillies....and regimental tie?
Bare-chested and feiliegh-beig belted, with cadadh stained with grass and mud and no shoes?

I think you should match your mode to the location rather than the movie.

My gut tells me that since you were requested to bring weight, stones caber ect.... you need to dress is something that will at least allow you to throw. Would a great kilt work?
As for fitting in at GTT's place you could re-wardrobe your upper after throwing if that fits the situation.
But alas....as always Jamie has the ever so proper answer. Just like a wedding.

Well...are you crashing the party, so to speak, or are you a legit invite? I suppose it doesn't much matter, does it? Is the expectation that you dress like a character from the movie, or just come as you are (and happen to be in a kilt)? I suspect that since you will be throwing, an outfit suitable to throwing is in order...I might step on toes suggesting that you go in a character that might have been in the movie, but there you go. I would imagine that is what they expect.

This is a legit invite, Spartan Tartan. They're actually paying us a pittance to show up. It'll be enough to buy the practice group a new weight. ANY-way, honestly, you need to be more deadly serious in your responses to threads like this. I mean....*Really*. Come, now!

I think you're gonna need to take some photos modeling each look, so we can leer....I mean judge them properly.
