Newspaper Shocker!
I trollied into the local garage this morning, thinking only of getting in, getting out, and remembering to pay for my fuel, noticed a stack of the local paper, the 'Hexham Courant' - and picked one up.
I nearly dropped it when I saw a big picture of myself, kilted, clutching a big stone, staring up from the front page! Wow. I dropped my press release into the Courant office on Wednesday and had a chat with one of the reporters, but I didn't expect anything to go in the paper this week, let alone on the front... hahaha, must be a slow news week...
I'm a bit crazy busy just now, but I'll try to take a photo of the front page when I get back from Scotland. (Be Monday, most likely.)

Oh my gosh! LOL That's a real shocker - you guys spotted that little lot before I did! The one they used on the front of the paper was the one with me ready to throw the stone, looking fairly relaxed and wearing shades. The rest... the photographer insisted on my taking my shades off, despite the fact that the afternoon sun was blazing right in my eyes, so apologies for the squinty-mole vibe there.
I do like that caber pic with the warrior-woman stance and the big boots, GGGP! Even my kilt seems to be flaring out a little as if to join in the general bad-assery. LOL
