New atronomical tartan

Hi all kilted community,

As an amateur astronomer I'm proud to announce that the Scottish Registry of Tartan has accepted my application.
The newest tartan honnours the famous Orion Nebula visible in winter northern hemisphere.

And I agree with Mark about the colors in M42 and envy his 16-inch ... telescope, that is. (Get your mind out of the gutter!) Best I had was a 12-inch Dobsonian.

Congratulations! What a beautiful tartan. Seems to me I recall you having posted an explanation for the colors you chose when you first designed the tartan. If my memory is correct, would you mind posting the explanation again?
