    Finally...

Off to catch the Sunday matinee of Brave with my brother, nephew and families. This is a kilted event for us. Took a long time to coordinate schedules. Will try to get a photo.

Hope everyone enjoys the movie. I've been wanting to see it, but have been unable to do so up to this point. And of course, the kilts are completely appropriate for this event (then again, they're appropriate for any event!).

Carol and I are planning on going to see it in the near future. Let us know what you think about it.

No news yet on the release of Brave in South Africa.
When I went to movies on Friday (to see Madagascar 3), I was told an announcement was expected this week.
I am really looking forward to seeing it, even though I have been unable to view the trailers.
    Regards,
    Mike

I watched it with my wife last week and I was kilted in a solid blue kilt I made with cargo pockets! It was an excellent movie!

The whole family enjoyed it immensely from my dad, who is 90, down to the kids. Great story, lots of kilts, bagpipes, games, legends and the animation and effects are nothing short of amazing, even by Pixar standards.
My brother met and chatted with a couple from Perthshire who were there to see it. He and I were both kilted in tropical/traditional Scottish National and had several nice compliments.
The highlight for me was sitting next to my grand-nephew (age 10) at a pizza parlor after the show. He expressed an interest in having and wearing a kilt of his own. I'm on it!
Didn't get a photo op. Sorry.
