Exhibition of Tartan Portraits
Exhibition of Tartan Portraits at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery – until 31st December 2013.
Looks like it'll be worth a look if anyone's local or visiting.

Hmmm...I may have to make a quick trip to Scotland in the autumn for this one (and for other things, naturally)!
Cheers,

I wonder if there will be a book of the images. I'll look into it. Thank you for the post.

I see no sign of a book about this exhibition, nor a poster. There are only six featured paintings, so it's not a major show for Scottish National Portrait Gallery.

That's a shame. Which pictures are there?

These four were easily harvested:
- Kenneth Sutherland, 3rd Lord Duffus (with greyhound)
- George IV, 1762 - 1830. Reigned as Regent 1811 - 1820, as King 1820 - 1830 (Satirical print)
- Sobieski Stuart brothers, the supposed grandsons of Bonnie Prince Charlie (photograph)
- Hugh Montgomerie, 12th Earl of Eglinton, 1739 – 1819 (don’t miss the other figures, although they’re much smaller)
A-ha! Although I wrote earlier that I found no book or poster, I don't think the gallery would mind me telling you of the tote bag. Because I'm new, I brought only the jpeg image back to show you, now I see that I was meant to capture the URL. Look for it in my next post. I can't say yet whether I like it or not. Which probably means... not.

I'm still note sure if you've actually visited the exhibitionor merely the shop online?

Did you notice that I listed four of the six works of contents (not all paintings) in one of my postings?
When you speak of the shot online..., would you state that another way for clarity, please?
