OK'd to Wear Kilt to Work

As of July 1 I began to report to a new supervisor. My previous supervisor would not allow me to wear kilts to work. On a whim today I stopped by my new supervisor's office and ask her if she would object to my wearing a kilt to work. She looked a little surprised by the question - as I expected here in West Texas - but she said she didn't object. She did say she reserved the right to change her mind if it somehow become a problem.

I'm planning on wearing my Fraser Hunting Sport Kilt to work tomorrow.

Congratulations. I'm jealous. I only get to wear my kilt to work on "special days" like St. Patrick's Day and I refuse to treat my kilt like "fancy dress" or a costume.

I hope it all works out well for you. Now that kilts are getting established in San Angelo, I may attempt to wear mine. I am doing a race there this weekend.
