Just Bought A Very Cool New Kilt Calendar

Just found this online and ordered it last week at http://www.kiltcalendar.com. It arrived today and I am VERY pleased. It is a kilt calendar that has real Scottish (1 Irish) men in traditional kilts. It tells about each clan and their tartan. First one I have ever seen that even I could even model for!!!! Not all naked and beefcake like most kilt calendars.

I saw a bunch of these on the shelf in the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop in Franklin. They looked pretty neat.

They're put out by a St. Andrews society in the US and have lots of different tartans in different styles of kilt (from Casual to Dress to Great Kilts). Out Law Enforcement tartan is in there as well.

Not to take any fire away from the St. Andrews Society but how cool would it be to do one like this of X Marks members?

I second that idea Steve. So what's the plan?

I dunno Jock, just tossing an idea out there. Having a calendar printed is fairly easy.

Would our members be interested enough in this to send me some pics? We would of course need 12 really good pics. Kilts of all types and worn in a lot of different ways.

Send me what you have. If there seems to be enough interest and participation........

It's all up to you folks so if you want to make this happen we could.

Beat me to the punch, great minds with the same idea.

At least that is my story and I am sticking to it.

Have to include a picture of Hamish and some group pictures doing the Hamish.

I think we need to dig up a picture of Retro Red and put him in there as well and send a calendar to his family.
