Going Kilted on an Alaskian cruise

Instead of crusing in the warm waters, I am taking my wife north to Alaska. I usually bring all my kilts and spend everyday struting my stuff.
This time after looking at alot of reviews on the weather in September I dont know if I want to wear my good kilts in rain. Has any of teh rabble done an Alaskian cruise and have gone ahead and braved the elements. We are hitting Victoria in the evening so I do not believe Steve will be opened, I really wanted to shake his hand for the great work he has done here

I am sure if you let him know time and date, he would have a coffee waiting for you - he is known for his coffee, you know.

That sounds fantastic, I wish you well. My brother did the cruise, had one of the times of his life, said it was awe inspiring. Now you have me humming that song, "North to Alaska, I'm going north to Alaska zone", I think that's how it goes. I look forward to your photos upon your return. Have a safe,fun-filled holiday,

Gayle, in the thread I read just before this you had some reservations about being here. I am so glad that you decided to join in. Your response her is proof positive that you do belong here. Welcome and enjoy a good long stay here.
