It's been a while.
It's been some time since I last wore a kilt. I'd let my health go, and gained quite a few pounds. My kilts became too small.
I've found my way back to good health ( thought there is a bit of stress ), and have lost a bunch of weight. My tank is now too big, but my SWKs are fitting okay (inner most hole).
So I've decided it was time to don a kilt and do a little kilted excursion. First it's off to The Haven for some scottish food and drink, and then perhaps I'll stroll to a pub or two.
Tomorrow I'll be wearing my slightly oversized MacKintosh Hunting to Whisky Live Boston as well.
I'll need an excuse to wear a kilt Sunday. Any suggestions.
Pics to follow if I get any.

"It's Sunday" should be sufficient. This Sunday, my brother and I are going on a little road trip to "Tweed Mecca", a certain fabric store in SW Ohio which happens to have the largest tweed fabric selection around. It's a slam-dunk kilted excursion. If not for that, "It's Sunday" would still work.
And congratulations on your improved health - a very valuable thing.

Thank you, David. It does feel good to have both my health and kilts back.
Posted a pic from last night in the pics section.

I would have thought that the clue was in the title - Whisky Live. Not rum, not tequila, not schnapps, but Whisky - what else would you wear?
Regards
Chas
