Need some advice?
The wife and I are attending the Titanic dinner tonight in Orlando. Should I go Kilted or No? They say it will be cold in some areas to make it feel like the north Atlantic. What do ya think?

Definitely kilted - though if you have a plaid you might find it useful.
If you are going to have an experience you want to get the best one available.

Thanks Anne, we are doing the Dinner which is part of the show. Loved the one in Belfast but it was a museum not a show but still its on the spot where the built the Titanic.

A kilt is just as warm as pants if you are sitting having dinner. It's when you are moving around and letting in new air into the kilt that is starts to get cold. Things like standing in a line for a long time, where you can't help but keep moving, but are not doing anything to make your body warm like dancing.
A dinner and a show should be fine.

Thanks Matt. The only other place I have worn my kilt was a highland games and I fit in just fine. I am afraid I am having the out of place worry going on, not to mention I don't have a jacket to wear that goes with the outfit. I plan on going casual. I have looked at pictures on facebook and folks are wearing every kind of outfit from shorts to pants.

Why not? If others will be casual, you can wear what you would otherwise, substituting the kilt (and hose) for pants.
I no longer own a Saxon dress outfit of any kind. If I can't go kilted, I don't need to go.
